Anti aging foods

What does anti aging really mean? It’s not just applying anti aging cream all over your face again and again without taking proper foods your body needs. You must have a healthy balanced diet inorder to be young and energetic throughout your life. Food built up your bones, muscles, skin and everything your body has. Maintaining a healthy weight will definitely keep you younger. Being fat or obese will show you aged. If your body gets enough nutrition and if you burn calories you will not get any aging factors like skin wrinkles, grey hair, big tummy etc. So eat healthy and stay healthy. Check out some anti aging fruits, vegetables and other foods which I have listed out. Take some time to discover the nature’s miracle foods. Include them in your daily diet and I hope you will get positive results.  It’s just a output of what I googled.

Tomatoes

Eating these veggies may ward off UV-induced damage like wrinkles, thanks to the main pigment lycopene, the pigment that gives them their rich red color for the tomatoes. And cooked tomatoes are good for your skin, too.

Include tomatoes in gravy, chutney and also in soup. Fresh tomato soup is good for health and also it aids in weight loss. Have home made tomato soup garnished with coriander leaves as a morning breakfast, It do wonders. Sun dried tomatoes can be included in your diet. My mother-in-law will prepare tomato pickle which tastes excellent.

Indian Gooseberries (Amla)

It’s cheap and is a rich source of Vitamin C. We all know the benefits of this vitamin; it fights free radicals hence prevents aging and gives you glowing skin. Amla is the secret to clean skin, a healthy immune system and all while detoxifying the liver.

If you drink Indian Gooseberry juice every day, it will slow down the aging process. Apply its juice on your face by mixing it with almond oil. This will help in removing fine lines and wrinkles which keeps you young. Amla intake also increases your hair growth. If your skin and hair is good definitely you will look younger lol…

Pomegranates

A half cup of pomegranate seeds have 15% of your daily need for vitamin C, an antioxidant that may fend off skin damage and premature aging. “They also contain the nutrient punicalagin, which might fight against the breakdown of collagen, helping to preserve joint health.

Pomogranates are really powerful anti aging fruit one should consume it in a regular basis to get it’s all nutrients. You can also have pomogranates juice daily morning to get a fairer skin.

Avocados

Avocados is an important ingredient in the beauty industry. It is used extensively in lotions, creams, soaps and supplements thanks to its excellent anti aging properties.

It comprises mono unsaturated fats, potassium, vitamin E and antioxidants. These minerals and vitamins work to enhance the health of the skin. Simply chop and add non-fat milk if desired. Chill for a more thrilling taste bud experience. Remember avocado is a natural remedy to a healthy and youthful skin.

Strawberries

These red gems boast flavonoids (healthy chemicals that give fruits and veggies their vivid color) with antioxidant powers that could keep your heart young. Regularly eating them and other flavonoid-rich foods like apples and pears could also reduce risk of heart disease. Strawberries are full of vitamin C, fibre and known as nutrients powerhouse.

Kiwi

Kiwi Regular consumption of Kiwi has the potential to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles on the skin. According to the nutritional break-up of kiwi fruit, per 100 grams contain 154 percentage of Vitamin C, which is almost twice that of lemons and oranges. Vitamin C acts as powerful antioxidant, eliminating free radicals.

Beetroot boosts exercise Stamina:  It was found that the nitrates in beets boosted the endurance/stamina about 16% in people who drank beet juice and exercised.

Beets – Skin Rejuvenation: In addition to the general health boosting properties of beets, it has anti-aging skin benefits.  In studies, it was shown that the high levels of folates and antioxidants can decrease the depth and severity of skin wrinkles by 60%!  This is best accomplished by eating beets (or drinking beet juice) as well as by applying beet juice topically, directly to skin.

Beetroot juice is a good weight loss drink. Have a glass full of beetroot juice on empty stomach daily you will definitely loss weight. But note your urine and stools change to the beet color don’t panic.

Turmeric

A main spice in curry, turmeric could keep your mind young.Sprinkle turmeric onto scrambled eggs, or cook veggies in curry sauce to get the full benefit. You can also add it in any gravy, sambhar etc. You can also add a pinch turmeric in a glass of milk and drink daily it boosts your metabolism and increases your immunity.

Eggs

To protect your eyesight, eat the yolk! It contains nutrients that lower your risk of cataracts and age-related eye degeneration. Hard boiled eggs are good for health rather than a omlette or podimas.

Garlic

Add it to your stir-fry, and you just might boost your heart health. Garlic is said to prevent heart disease and strokes by slowing the hardening of the arteries. The herb may also help fight inflammation and cartilage damage associated with arthritis. Garlic can be boiled in a glass of milk and have it on empty stomach it has enormous benefits.

Milk

As you age, you lose bone and muscle. Milk helps counteract this because it’s packed with two simple anti-aging nutrients—protein and calcium. If downing a glass of milk doesn’t appeal to you, try it steamed or blend some into a fruit smoothies and enjoy. Note drinking tea or coffee is not good have a glass of milk with any of your flavor of your choice like cardoman flavored milk, turmeric flavored, almond milk etc.

Mixed Nuts

Regular nuts intake was connected with a lower risk of dying from cancer, heart disease, and respiratory disease. Make a to-go mix of peanuts, almonds, pistachios and walnuts for an easy way to avoid hanger. But remember do not eat more.


Nuts improve brain activity, keeping it active. This keeps the body active and prevents any kind of lethargy. Thus enabling the person to feel younger.

Green Tea

Drinking three cups of green tea on a daily basis has the potential to reverse cellular damage and increase longevity of cell life. The benefits that it has on the skin are phenomenal. Green tea bags can be dabbed on the skin for a refreshing look.


Eat a few of these wonderful foods regularly for a few months and watch the dramatic improvement in your life you will feel energetic, strong.
