Gobi masala fried rice

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Cups Rice / அரிசி
  • 3-4 Tbsp Oil
  • Mace
  • Cloves
  • Bay Leaves / பிரியாணி இலைகள்
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds / சீரகம்
  • 1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds / கடுகு
  • 1/2 Tsp Channa Dal
  • 1/2 Tsp Urad dal
  • 1 Tsp Finely chopped ginger
  • 2 Tsp garlic / பூண்டு
  • 2 Green Chilly / பச்சை மிளகாய்
  • 1/2 Capsicum
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1/3 Cabbage
  • 1 Cup Gobi 65
  • Curry Leaves / கறிவேப்பிலை
  • Coriander Leaves / கொத்துமல்லி தழை
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeeic
  • Required Salt

Method
 

  1. In a heavy bottomed vessel add 3-4 tbsp oil
  2. Add mace
  3. Add clove
  4. Add bay leaves
  5. Add cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  6. Add mustard seeds
  7. Add few channa dal
  8. Add few urad dal
  9. Add 3-4 chopped onion
  10. Add chopped ginger
  11. Add chopped garlic
  12. Add cut 2 green chilly. Saute everything well.
  13. Add capsicum
  14. Add carrots. Also add veg of your choice
  15. Add mint leaves
  16. Add curry leaves
  17. Add chopped cabbage saute well.
  18. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
  19. Add required salt.
  20. Add already prepared Gobi 65 or chicken pakoda or chicken 65
  21. Add cooked rice 4 cups. You can also use left over rice.
  22. Add coriander leaves now
  23. Give a quick stir but gently
  24. Gobi masala fried rice is ready to serve.
