Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 Potatoes / உருளைக்கிழங்கு
  • 1 Tsp Butter
  • Few Curry Leaves / கறிவேப்பிலை
  • 1 Onion / வெங்காயம் Finely chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 2 Cups Wheat flour For chapati dough
  • Water
  • Oil

Instructions
 

  • Boil 4-5 potatoes and peel the skin
  • Mash them finely
  • In a pan add 1 tsp butter
  • Add few curry leaves
  • Add 1 finely chopped onion saute well
  • Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Add mashed potatoes
  • Add 1 tsp salt
  • Add 2 tsp kashmiri red chilly powder
  • Mix and saute till masala binds
  • Take a ball sized chapati dough
  • Dust flour and flatten well
  • Take 1/2 tsp any variety of pickle of your choice.
  • Spread it on the surface
  • Take a ball of the prepared potato stuffing
  • Make pleats of the edges to the centre
  • Press gently
  • Dust flour and roll again flat gently
  • Flatten as thinly as possible
  • Preheat tawa and add rolled out chapati
  • Cook both sides in low flame apply oil
  • Pickled aloo paratha is ready to serve
