Chilly paneer gravy

Ingredients
  

  • 250 Gms Paneer
  • 2 Tsp Corn flour / சோள மாவு
  • 2 Tsp Chilly Powder / மிளகாய் தூள்
  • 1 Cup Capsicum
  • 5 Tomatoes / தக்காளி 3 for gravy 3 for adding atlast
  • 4 Onions / வெங்காயம் 2 for gravy 2 for adding at last
  • 1 Inch Ginger / இஞ்சி
  • 10-12 Garlic cloved
  • 10-12 Red chilly / சிவப்பு மிளகாய்
  • Required Salt
  • 1-2 Tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder For gravy
  • Few Curry leave
  • Few Coriander Leaves / கொத்துமல்லி தழை

Instructions
 

  • In a plate or bowl add 2 tsp corn flour
  • Add 2 tsp chilly powder and required salt
  • Add water and make fine paste
  • Coat the paneer cubes with the masala
  • Cut capsicum into square shapes, cut onions into half and cut into X shape and peel each petals. Similarly cut tomatoes into square or rec shapes.
  • Soak 10-12 red chilly in hot water.
  • In a bowl add chilly and pour hot water.
  • In a pan add oil
  • Add paneer cubes in batches and fry them. Keep aside.
  • In the same pan add 1 inch ginger chopped
  • 10-12 garlic cloves
  • Add 2 chopped onion and saute well
  • Once the onion changes color switch off.
  • Cool down completely and add to a mixie jar
  • Add soaked red chilly along with water.
  • Grind to fine paste. Keep aside.
  • In a pan add oil
  • Add ground paste
  • Add 2 chopped tomatoes for the gravy.
  • Add required salt.
  • Add chilly powder if needed
  • Add square shaped tomatoes now
  • Add cut capsicum I got red and yellow.
  • Saute well. As the capsicum is thick add some water and cook.
  • Sprinkle a little water and allow to boil.
  • Once the gravy becomes thickened.
  • Add fried paneer and mix gently.
  • Chilly paneer gravy is ready to serve.
