Carrot Ladoo - Kajar ka laddu

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 th cup Grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar / சர்க்கரை
  • 3 Cardamom
  • 3 Cloves
  • 3 tbsp Ghee / நெய்
  • Cashews and Raisins

Instructions
 

  • Grated carrots 1 cup
  • Took 1/4 cup grated coconuts
  • Took 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • Cashews and raisins
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • cloves, cardamom and food color
  • In a pan add ghee and roast cashews and raisins. Transfer to a plate.
  • In the same pan add grated carrots and saute till raw smell goes off.
  • Add grated coconuts and saute well.
  • Meanwhile powder sugar, cloves, cardamom in a mixie jar.
  • Add the ground sugar mixture to the pan and saute well
  • Add milk powder and saute well.
  • Sugar dissolves and combine well. Add a tsp ghee and saute well. Add food color it is completely optional.
  • Once it starts leaving the pan add roasted cashews and raisins. Once done transfer to a plate and cool down the mixture.
  • Once cooled down start shaping ladoos.
  • Keep a cashew in each laddoo.
  • Yummy carrot laddoo is ready to serve.
