Instructions
  1. Soak 200 GMs red rice in water overnight
  2. In the morning wash well and boil with enough water for 15 mins or till its cooked.
  3. Drain excess water and keep aside
  4. Grate 1/2 coconuts
  5. Grate 50 GMs jaggery or powder it.
  6. Add jaggery to cooked red rice
  7. Mix well till jaggery melts down
  8. Once the jaggery binds well
  9. Add grated coconuts
  10. Mix well
  11. Add pinch cardamon powder
  12. Mix well
  13. Cardamon is optional. You can also replace jaggery with sugar
  14. Close and keep for 15 mins
  15. Serve warm. Healthy breakfast or snacks.
  16. You can also serve this during golu festival at home.
