Prawn golden fry / Crispy and spicy prawn fry

Prawn golden fry – Though I haven’t done this fry before but this recipe tastes excellent. Everyone had it like snacks pre lunch. You can increase or decrease the spice level accordingly. You can serve it with tomato sauce.

Prawn golden fry
  1. Clean prawn thoroughly and strain it without any water. Add 1 tbsp chilly powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp cumin powder.
  2. Add Ginger Garlic paste and mix everything together in clean hands
  3. Add Corn flour and rice flour with the required salt and mix out evenly.
  4. Allow the marinated prawn masala to sit at least 1/2 hour. You can also refrigerate so that the masala goes deep inside and gives spicy taste.
  5. In a pan add little oil as we are going to fry prawn in batches.
  6. Take the marinated prawns and place it in the pan give space for each of them to turn it easily. Pour 1 tsp oil over it.
  7. Once the prawn is cooked on one side turn the other. Prawn gets cooked soon, so don't keep on the pan for long time. As it will become hard on over cooking.
  8. Transfer the fried prawn to a plate. Repeat adding prawn in batches and fry. If the prawn is less spicy after cooking add pepper on the top of it and serve it gives good taste.
  9. Prawn golden fry is ready to serve. It was very crispy and spicy.
