Pineapple kesari my husband prepared this recipe for me I enjoyed it very well. Truly speaking this is the first time he is doing kesari bath. It has came out very well, Its all because of his interest and dedication in doing a work. He prepared the recipe with pineapple fruit, select the one which is sweet in taste and ripen well. So that the pineapple kesari tastes heavenly. The ratios of rava, water and sugar instructions was given by my mother in law , I just took the snaps to post the recipe for you. A must try recipe to surprise your family, friends and relatives.

Instructions
  1. Add 2 tbsp Ghee in a pan.
  2. Add 250 gms chopped pineapple fruit.
  3. Saute well for 10 minutes in the lowest flame possible.
  4. After 10 minutes the fruit will be shrinked and you get the nice aroma. Transfer to a plate and keep aside.
  5. In the same pan roast cashews and almonds till brown color.
  6. Add raisins and saute well till it becomes fluffy. Transfer to a plate.
  7. In the same pan add 200 gms sooji / rava
  8. Add 2 tbsp ghee and roast well and transfer to a plate
  9. In the same pan add 2 cups water and boil.
  10. Once it starts rolling boil add rava little by little and keep on stirring otherwise it forms lumps.
  11. Once the rava absorbs all the water stir well in low flame for 2 minutes.
  12. Add fried pineapple and mix well
  13. Add a pinch of cardamon powder. And food coloring if needed. I used lemon color food coloring a pinch.
  14. Add roasted dry fruits and give a quick stir.
  15. Now add 200 gms of powdered sugar.
  16. Give a quick stir. The sugar melts completely.
  17. Once the ghee starts leaving the sides. Switch of the flame and serve hot.
  18. Pineapple kesari bath is ready to serve.
Recipe Notes


Important instructions to follow:

  1. Saute pineapple well in ghee till it becomes soft.
  2. Choose the fruit which more sweet in taste and has ripen well.
  3. Roast rava/ sooji in ghee for atleast 10 minutes in low flame.
  4. Its best to powder the sugar and add it. It avoids the sugar being crystaized soon.
  5. The ratio of sooji : sugar : water is 1 : 1 : 2
