Javarisi kichadi or sabudana kichadi easy and healthy breakfast. It’s so colourful as I have added many ingredients like potato, groundnuts, tomato, green chilly, curry leaves and coriander leaves. You can reduce the amount of spice and feed your children too. You can offer this as prasadham during Navaratri festival, Varalakshmi viradham etc.
Most people those are being in any fasting or viradham takes recipes made of sabudana. So it is offered to God and taken by them as prasadham. The main reason is sago or sabudana is full of energy as it contains much carbohydrates. Javarisi is one food which possess a high cooling effect in the system and it is quite easy to digest. It is also used in making cakes and breads. Sago is helpful as a substitute in binding the dishes or making them thick. It is low in calories and is preferred as a light meal option.
