Spicy and Juicy Chicken Gravy
  1. Clean chicken with turmeric and lemon juice and keep it aside.
  2. Chop onion lengthwise, tomatoes and peel ginger and garlic
    Chopped tomatoes, onion, ginger garlic
  3. Take all masala items and keep.
  4. In a pan add little oil and fry onion till golden brown with little black stone flower,fennel and cumin seeds. Keep some fennel and cumin seeds for seasoning.
  5. Transfer it to a plate.
  6. Grind onion to smooth paste.
  7. In the same pan add tomatoes,turmeric powder,chilly powder,coriander powder and fry till tomatoes become mushy.
  8. Grind tomatoes to a smooth paste keep separately.
  9. Grind ginger and garlic also to smooth paste keep separately.
  10. Grind coconut in a blender and extract milk in a strainer.
  11. In a pan pour little oil and add all items under seasoning one by one. Be careful not to burn any of the masala item.
  12. Add onion paste and stir continously.
  13. Add Ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes off
  14. Add tomato paste and stir well till the oil leaves at the side
  15. Add cleaned chicken pieces to the gravy.
  16. Pour 1 - 11/2 glass water close pan and allow it to boil till the chicken cooks well in medium flame. It take around 10 minutes.
  17. Once the gravy gets thickened add extracted coconut milk and boil for 2 mins and switch off stove.
  18. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
  19. Spicy and Juicy Chicken gravy is ready. You can serve it with chapati, crispy dhosa or steamed rice.
