Cheesy Mushroom Wrap | dhosa wrapped with cheese and mushroom

Cheesy mushroom wrap with dhosa cheese and mushroom gravy. Tried this the first time and came fantastic. Wrap is usually done with chapati but I tried with dhosa with applied cheese and topped mushroom gravy. The mushroom gravy is spicy. You can have this without any side dish also. And I served with home made tomato chutney and green chutney. My hubby came home late and this Saturday is holiday for me. So I tried this evening. My hubby was surprised by this dish and was very happy. Check out my method of doing.

Cheesy Mushroom Wrap
  1. Fresho idly dosa batter. Milky mushroom from
  2. Milky mushroom.
  3. Cut mushroom finely.
  4. Chop onion, tomatoes, prepare ginger garlic paste, clean curry leaves and coriander leaves.
  5. In a pan add 2 tbsp oil.
  6. Add 1 TSP cumin seeds.
  7. Add 1 TSP fennel seeds.
  8. Add shallots and saute well.
  9. Add curry leaves.
  10. Add bay leaves.
  11. Add cinnamon.
  12. Add cloves
  13. Add black stone flower.
  14. Add green chilly.
  15. Add chopped tomatoes.
  16. Add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
  17. Add 1 chilly powder.
  18. Add 1 TSP coriander powder
  19. Add 1/2 TSP turmeric powder.
  20. Add 1/2 TSP cumin powder.
  21. Add 1 TSP salt.
  22. Add chopped mushroom saute well. It leaves some water.
  23. Add 1 TSP curd. Mix well and cook.
  24. Mushroom will be cooked soon. Add coriander leaves and keep aside.
  25. For preparing dhosa. Place tawa on stove.
  26. Pour a laddle full of batter.
  27. Flatten oval shape.
  28. Apply oil all over.
  29. Add cut cheese all around.
  30. Spread mushroom gravy above dhosa.
  31. Spread all over.
  32. Apply cheese again.
  33. Gently press.
  34. Cover and cook for 2 mins.
  35. Once done transfer to plate.
  36. Roll dhosa from one end to other tightly.
  37. Serve with home made tomato chutney and green chutney

  39. Cut into halves and serve hot.
