Weight loss chapati with grated carrots and flax seeds you can also add vegetables of your choice for instance grated cabbage, grated beetroot, grated radish etc. Have this chapati only 2 in the night and see a change in your life style. Water vegetables like cabbage, radish, carrot and beetroot is necessary for those who are in diet. These vegetables are very filling, which mean that they satisfy your hunger without running up your calorie count. Including these vegetables in your diet increase regular bowel movements, which helps in weight loss, and increases the efficiency of the metabolism.

These vegetables are in low glycemic index, which means that eating it does not impact blood sugar levels. It also helps maintain a healthy sugar level , meaning that diabetics don’t have to worry. Though Carrot chapati is good do not eat more than two. Eating more increases your calorie count though the food is healthy.

Weight loss chapati | Carrot chapati
Instructions
  1. Add 2 cups wheat flour to a vessel.
  2. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  3. Add 1/2 tsp fennel seeds.
  4. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. Add 1/2 tsp salt.
  6. Add curry leaves chopped
  7. Add coriander leaves chopped
  8. Add 1/2 tsp flax seeds
  9. Mix everything well.
  10. Add grated carrots
  11. Mix everything well. Carrot has some water so mix well before you start kneading the flour. Add water little by little and knead the dough.
  12. Add little oil and knead well.
  13. Leave a resting time of 1/2 hour.
  14. Take a small ball sized and flatten it out.
  15. See all the ingredients we have added is clearly visible.
  16. Place in a hot tawa cook on both sides, apply oil and cook.
  17. Carrot flax seeds chapati is ready. No need any side dish. If you prefer one have it with plain onion raita.

Recipe Notes

Notes:

  1. You can add green chilly for spiciness
  2. Watery vegetables leaves more water, so be careful in kneading the dough otherwise it will be sticky and you need to add more flour to compensate.
  3. Don't forget to give a resting time for the dough to bind well and becomes soft while preparing chapati.
