Instructions
  1. Keep all ingredients ready, chop all veggies
  2. Broken corn is easily available in super markets.
  3. In a pan add oil and saute chopped onion.
  4. Add fresh curry leaves.
  5. Add bay leaves, cloves and cinnamon stick
  6. Add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off
  7. Add green chilly cut lengthwise.
  8. Add all veggies one by one and saute. Add 1 tsp salt and mix well.
  9. Add fresh coriander leaves.
  10. Add 1 cup broken corn and saute well in oil and till all veggies mix up
  11. Add chopped tomatoes now. If you add it before upma will become mushy
  12. For one cup broken corn add 2 cups water. Add 1/2 glass water extra for veggies to cook.
  13. Transfer the upma in a vessel and pressure cook for 3-5 whistles.
  14. Once the pressure subsides open the cooker and serve upma hot with chutney
