Aloo spring onions pepper fry for roti or any variety rice. My favourite side dish for chapati and also it goes well with sambhar or curd rice. We do not add much oil and we cook potatoes in water. The taste of pepper and spring onions would be great .

- Spring onions Chopped
- 1/2 Kg Baby potatoes
- 2 Tsp Pepper
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin seeds / சீரகம்
- 2 Tsp Oil
- 1 Glass Water
Ingredients

- Wash and chop spring onion
- Wash and cut baby potatoes into round and thick sized pieces
- In a pan add 2 tsp oil
- Add 1/2 tsp jeera or cumin seeds
- Add chopped spring onions
- Stir well
- Add cut baby potatoes and stir well
- Fry in oil for 3-5 mins
- Add 2 tsp pepper powder
- Add 1 tsp salt
- Add 1 glass water and boil till potatoes are cooked. Close with a lid.
- Check in between add water if needed
- Once the water evaporates fry for 2 mins in low flame
- Aloo spring onion fry is ready to serve.
